Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis has been with man for hundreds of years it is a conundrum, there is no cure. This is a summary of the conundrum. Finding a cure for ALS will take inventing compounds that do not yet exist and require original approaches to the disease. It is possible that the technology to cure ALS has not been invented yet. But science is getting closer. It is possible the technology does exist to cure ALS but the pieces have not been put together yet. There are some veterinary drugs that may be applicable to human ALS. This chapter is about finding the knowledge to develop a Virtual Lab to fill in some knowledge gaps.
