MISSION STATMENT
Neurodegenerative Disease Research, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that was formed with a mission to provide funding to researchers with an emphasis to identify and validate biomarkers for determining drug effectiveness in neurodegenerative diseases and facilitate pathology-based treatments to ALS patients. NDR supports open access to all findings via peer-reviewed publications.

My interest is in understanding the mechanisms of neurological diseases and application of rational approach to therapy. We have studied a large number of families with various disorders and discovered genes that cause them. The discovery of genetic causes of neurodegenerative and other muscular diseases have allowed us to reincarnate the effects of those mutant genes in animals and in cell cultures for therapeutic application. I maintain a strong clinical focus and deliver care based on personalized medicine to my patients.
